Library Facilities:
The Central Library is equipped with modern infrastructure and digital resources to support the academic, research, and professional development needs of students and faculty members. The library offers the following facilities:
OPAC Facility
Students and staffs can check availability of books, issue and return books by login on 136.233.195.18
M-OPAC Facility
The M-OPAC (Mobile Online Public Access Catalogue) facility enables users to search the library catalogue anytime and anywhere through their mobile devices, providing convenient access to information about library resources and their availability.
Reference Section
The library maintains a well-organized reference section comprising the latest editions of textbooks, reference books, and newly arrived national and international journals and periodicals. These resources are arranged subject-wise and are available for consultation within the library.
Photocopying Facility
Photocopying services are available to all students and staff members to facilitate academic and research activities.
Internet Facility
A dedicated Internet Section with 50 computers connected through a high-speed leased-line Internet connection is available for accessing digital learning resources, online journals, databases, and academic websites.
Book Bank Facility
The Book Bank Scheme, sponsored by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, provides textbooks to students belonging to reserved categories. Books are issued for the entire academic year for home study without any charges.
E- Resources
Institute has subscribed to following E-resources through which students and staffs can access E-journals and e-books.
MUHS Digital Library Consortia Project powered by EBSCO Information Services.
The Consortia provides access to a vast collection of 3,371 full text medical e-journals and 5,203 medical e-books, covering a wide range of specialities and subspecialities. All journals available through this platform are provided with full text access, ensuring comprehensive support for academic, clinical, and research activities.
We have conducted a through department-wise review and are pleased to report that a majority of the journals relevant to our curriculum and specialites are included in this consortia. This makes it a highly relevant and beneficial resources for our institution.
Moreover, as per the latest NMC (National Medical Commission) and LIC (Local Inspection Committee) norms, the availability of online journals through such consortia is recognized and encouraged. Therefore subscribing to the MUHS Digital Consortia would not only meet regulatory requirements but also significantly enrich our Central Library’s digital collection.
MUHS Integrated Clinical Knowledge Gateway provides Customized library Website, single Search Discovery tools, secured SAML Remote Login, Smart usage analytics, Integrated Mobile App.
MUHS Digital Library
The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has established a Digital Library Network to disseminate health science information resources to its affiliated institutions. The digital library provides access to more than 2,074 online journals.

E shodhganga -
The Shodhganga@INFLIBNET is set-up using an open source digital repository software called DSpace developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in partnership between Hewlett- Packard (HP). The DSpace uses internationally recognized protocols and interoperability standards. Shodhganga provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. The repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) submitted by the researchers. Link: http://shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in/

Portal is a initiative of Central Government to digital’s the education system and to reach remote areas. Swayam provides fees online course/study material of multiple stream to students across the country it can be accessed at www.swayam.gov.in
National Digital Library –
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for leading vernacular languages, (currently Hindi, Bengali and several other languages are available). It is designed to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is being developed to help students to prepare for entrance and competitive examinations, to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is being developed at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
National Medical Library –
The National Medical Library provides access to the Electronic Resources in Medicine (ERMED) consortium, offering a wide range of medical journals and electronic resources that support medical education, research, and clinical practice.
